Shopping in Atlanta

Find all the best places to shop in Atlanta

Atlanta is home to a large number of gay and lesbian bars and shopping. As is well known for an international shopping destination, attracting Latin Americans and a growing number of Europeans to stores that, for the most part, are open seven days a week.
Some of the Favorites Stores in Atlanta are:
1-Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza-two giant shopping centers that sit across the street from one another in Buckhead, house all the finest stores.
2- Saks, Tiffany , Gucci, Neiman Marcus, Burberry, Louis Vuitton and Cartier

Most Atlanta’s best shopping can be found along the miles long Peachtree Street/Road, with downtown shopping concentrated in the Peachtree Center complex. Antiquing can be rewarding, if a tad frustrating for those unfamiliar with the city’s maze of side streets; looks for clusters of shops tucked away in Vinings, Miami Circle, and Bennett Street. One of a kind shops line the walk -able street of Virginia Highland, which boasts of having no chain retailers. Gay and Lesbian Center in Key West, Florida

Opened in March 1999, the center sponsors a number of events and serves as welcome center for gay visitors to Key West. Its huge bulletin board is a good source of information on events. The center has a meeting room named in honor of the late Key West mayor Richard Hayman, the first openly gay mayor in the US. The Hal Walsh Archives, housed at the center, includes books, periodicals, and videotapes that document the lesbian and gay history of Key West. Open Daily 10am-10pm Duval St, between Truman Ave and Virginia St-www.glcckeywest.org

Gay and Lesbian Accomdotations in Key West

Accommodations more than 40 properties in Key West are exclusively or primary for gay men and lesbians. They run the gamut in terms of facilities, atmosphere, and sexual temperature, from dingy bathhouse-style joints to world-class luxury properties. Virtually all the chain hotels-both upscale and economy are located in Key West.
One of the Favorite hotels are
Cheeca Lodge and Heron House –both centrally located, while North Roosevelt Boulevard on the more-developed, not at all quaint eastern and of the island is home to the economic Lodge, Ramada Inn, Days Inn, and many different other brand-name hotels.
The rooms offer standard amenities in most guest hotels including air-conditioning, telephones, color TV and of course, private bath. Many, if not most, guest houses have clothing-optional policies around the pool and or sundecks. Unless otherwise noted, all lodging places listed served breakfast!
Winter starting immediately after Christmas Day is the high season here, when rates are at their pick and reservations are highly recommended. I would also recommend you to plan your vacations 6 moths in advance for October’s popular Fantasy Fest as many hotels and guest houses require three to five night minimum stays for certain weeks and weekends

Gay Cozumel Vacations

Gay Cozumel Vacations - Know Before You Go.

Located about 40 miles off the shore of the Yucatan Peninsula, Cozumel Mexico's pristine beaches, warm ocean water and convenient access to jungle tours are just some of the reasons that Cozumel is consistently ranked in the top five of the world's most popular vacation spots.
Cozumel, Mexico's by air from Mexico city is about 2 ½ hours, Merida in about 40 minutes, Cancun in about 15 minutes; also from other Mexican and US airports; by ferry from Playa del Carmen in about 1 hour of Puerto Aventuras. Famous all over the world for its coral reefs, there are plenty of water sports such as diving, deep-sea fishing, snorkeling, kayaking and more, but you don't have to get wet to discover the appeal of this easy-going, sleepy island.

History of Cozumel
Cozumel, known to t he Maya as Ah-cuzamil (Land of the swallows) was apparently a site of major significance during the Mayan post-Classic period, paricualry between AD 1000 and 1200. Old records also suggest that if was from Cozumel that several Mayan tribes set off on their migrations across the mainland.Cozumel's west coast is where you will find the majority of the island's development. It is also the most populated island in Mexico with an estimated population of around 90,000.

Shopping in Cozumel
Take the time to explore the beautiful, windswept, eastern beaches that are wonderful for picnics, sunning and shell collecting. Non-divers can kick back on a sun-drenched beach, or enjoy any number of seaside activities, such as shopping in colorful marketplaces or dining in an open-air
Local Currency - Mexico's currency is the peso. Cozumel offers unbelievable prices on diamonds, colored gemstones, jewelry, watches, gold, sterling silver, and even Oriental rugs as well as local Mexican artisans and handicrafts.

Cozumel Tourism
Just like the ancient Mayans, today many cruise ship passengers and tourists visit Cozumel Mexico each year. Given the growing popularity of Cozumel, the island has a number of excellent hotel, resorts and a few Bed and Breakfasts can also be found. Cozumel is a very special place for visitors that repeatedly return to the island to fish, dive, and snorkel or relax.
